Tracy Elliott has been the Dean of University Library at Florida Gulf Coast University since April 2020.

Tracy Elliott was previously the Dean of University Library at San Jose State University from June 2016 to April 2020.

From January 2009 to June 2016, Tracy Elliott was the Director of Libraries at State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota, where they delivered library services for the 3 campuses of the State College of Florida.

From July 2007 to January 2009, Tracy Elliott was the Head Librarian at St. Petersburg College, where they delivered joint use library services to SPC students and residents in the cities of Seminole, St.Petersburg, and Clearwater at 3 different campuses.

From February 1999 to May 2007, Tracy Elliott was the Dean of Learning Resources at Rappahannock Community College, where they delivered library, testing, and computer services to students at 2 campuses and ran a 3 agency joint use library (Richmond County Public Library, Cooperative Law Library and the RCC college library).

Prior to their work in academia, Tracy Elliott was a Patent Librarian at the U.S. Department of Commerce from March 1998 to February 1999, and an Information Services Librarian at Columbus State University from January 1995 to December 1998.

Tracy Elliott has a PhD in Leadership and Education from Barry University. Tracy also has a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University.

Tracy Elliott works with Charles Lindsey - Dean, College of Arts & Sciences, Chris Westley - Dean, Lutgert College of Business, and Aysegul Timur - VP & Vice Provost, Strategy & Program Innovation. Tracy Elliott reports to Mark Rieger, EVP & Provost.
