David Swoboda

David Swoboda currently serves as the Director of Leukemia and a Malignant Hematologist at Tampa General Hospital since August 2021. In addition, David holds the position of Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida since April 2022. Prior experience includes serving as the Hematology/Oncology Chief Fellow and Fellow at Moffitt Cancer Center from July 2018 to June 2021. David began a distinguished medical career at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where duties included serving as Internal Medicine Chief Resident and Internal Medicine Resident from July 2014 to June 2018. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Florida State University, the latter with a focus in Biochemistry.
