Melisa Hayman

Melisa Hayman is an accomplished and ANCC certified Informatics Nurse with over 11 years of healthcare IT experience, currently serving as the Director of Patient Services and Director of Nursing Excellence and Magnet Programs at Tampa General Hospital since February 2015. Melisa has held multiple roles within the institution, including Manager of Inpatient Informatics, where responsibilities included the acquisition and maintenance of clinical applications aligned with the organization's mission. Prior experience at Tampa General Hospital also involved significant contributions as a Systems Analyst and Epic Principal Trainer. Melisa's clinical background encompasses nursing roles in various critical care settings, with a focus on neonatal intensive care and adult critical care. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s degree in Nursing and Health Administration from the University of Phoenix.
