Rigoberto Nunez

Rigoberto Nunez is a highly experienced professional in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Currently serving as Medical Director at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital since January 2023, Rigoberto Nunez previously held prominent positions at Tampa General Hospital, including Vice Chief and Medical Director of the Spinal Cord Injury Rehab Program since April 2015. As an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida since May 2015 and Vice President at Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostics, PA, Rigoberto Nunez has contributed significantly to medical education and rehabilitation services. Previous experience includes serving as Medical Director at Kindred Healthcare’s acute inpatient rehabilitation unit from July 2020 to December 2022 and as a Physician at U.S. Physiatry from July 2013 to April 2015. Rigoberto Nunez earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
