Steve Short

Steve Short is the Senior Vice President for Tampa General Provider Network Operations.

Short brings over three decades of health care experience to TGH in his role of EVP and CFO. Prior to joining the TGH team in 2000, Short served as assistant vice president of finance at the University of Louisville Hospital, where he eventually took on the role of vice president of operations and chief financial officer. Prior to joining the health care industry, he worked as a staff accountant for the State of Arizona. 

Short is a graduate of Arizona State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He also received his Master of Business Administration from Indiana University in 2000.
