John Wilgis

John Wilgis has extensive experience in healthcare management, currently serving as Vice President of Member and Business Relations at the Florida Hospital Association since December 2006. Key responsibilities include supporting and growing hospital and health system memberships, securing $8 million in annual member dues, and overseeing a federal cooperative agreement worth $9.8 million. Previously, John held various leadership roles within the Florida Hospital Association, focusing on emergency management programs and engaging corporate partners. Prior to this, John worked for Memorial Hospital Jacksonville from 1989 to 2006, managing multiple service lines and improving operational efficiencies, employee satisfaction, and physician engagement. John earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Services from the University of Phoenix.
