Cochran Keating

Policy Chief, Economic Infrastructure Subcommittee at Florida House of Representatives

Cochran Keating has extensive work experience in the field of policy and law related to energy, infrastructure, and tourism. Cochran started their career as an Attorney in the Energy & Utilities Subcommittee for the Florida House of Representatives in 2006. Cochran held this position until 2013 when they became the Policy Chief for the same subcommittee. In 2020, they transitioned to become the Policy Chief for the Tourism, Infrastructure & Energy Subcommittee. Currently, they hold the position of Policy Chief for the Energy, Communications & Cybersecurity Subcommittee. Prior to working at the Florida House of Representatives, Keating worked as a Senior Attorney at the Florida Public Service Commission from 1996 to 2006.

Cochran Keating started their education at Florida State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Multinational Business/Marketing from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they attended the Florida State University College of Law from 1992 to 1995, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
