Sylvia W.

Sylvia W. is currently serving as an Event Assistant at Common Ground Books since September 2023 and as a Communications Intern for State Representative Bartleman within the Florida House of Representatives since July 2023. Additionally, Sylvia has been involved with Equality Florida since May 2022, initially as a Field Advocacy and Organizing Fellow, later serving as a Joint Field Advocacy and Public Policy Fellow, and now as a Senior Field Advocacy and Organizing Fellow. In July 2022, Sylvia joined 18by Vote as a Youth Advisory Board Member on the Organizational Development Committee and participated in the Florida Civic Leadership Fellowship. Previously, Sylvia contributed as a Fellow and Volunteer Coordinator for the Democratic Party of Georgia during the 2020 Senate Runoff. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Affairs at Florida State University, expected to graduate in June 2025.
