Albert Hoyt

Albert Hoyt is the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions at Florida International University. Albert has been with the university since October 2010, first as a Graduate Recruiter and then in their current role. In their time at FIU, Albert has coordinated graduate student recruitment for over 175 programs, advised prospective students, and administered the processing and maintenance of admissions files. Albert has also been a member of the FIU McNair, McKnight, and GMOP graduate fellowship selection committee, and has led workshops and presentations on topics related to graduate studies, research, and funding. In addition to their work with FIU, Albert has also created publications and media for UGS recruitment efforts.

Albert Hoyt has a Master of Arts from Miami University, a Bachelor's degree in English from The Ohio State University, certification from Florida International University in FIU Leadership Education Advancement Program (LEAP), certification from Graduate and Professional School Enrollment Management Corporation (GAPSEMC) in GAPSEMC Graduate Recruitment, and certification from Accor Plus in Accor Customer Service Training.

Albert Hoyt reports to Jody Glassman, Assistant Vice President. Albert Hoyt works with Elena Martinez - Associate Director - ADM Events and Operations, Jaclyn Jonusas - Associate Director - Undergraduate Admissions.
