Anthony A. Rionda

Anthony A. Rionda currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Strategic Communications, Government and External Affairs at Florida International University (FIU), a position held since August 2021. Rionda has a wealth of experience in governmental relations, strategic marketing, and community engagement, having previously held roles such as Assistant Vice President for Governmental Relations and Chief of Staff at FIU and co-executive director of the Center for Community Impact and Public Purpose. With a background that includes leadership positions in student government and business, Rionda is well-versed in marketing and public relations. An educational foundation that includes a Juris Doctor from FIU College of Law and a Doctor of Education from Johns Hopkins University complements Rionda’s professional expertise in public administration and political science.
