Christy Martinez

Christy Martinez serves as the Executive Director for both the Office of the Senior Vice President and Board Relations and the Foundation Board Relations at Florida International University. With extensive experience in alumni engagement and fundraising, Christy previously held the position of Senior Director of Engagement at the University of Miami, where notable achievements included a 393% increase in scholarship fundraising and a 66% rise in alumni engagement. Christy began the career at Florida International University in various roles, contributing significantly to the Foundation Board's strategic initiatives and operational efficiencies. Educational qualifications include a Master of International Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida International University, complemented by participation in a Leadership Education Advancement Program.
