Cristhofer E. Lugo

Cristhofer E. Lugo is an accomplished Information Technology professional with a strong background in education and leadership. Currently serving as an Information Technology Generalist II at Florida International University since October 2024, Cristhofer previously held roles including Director of Industry Relations at INIT FIU and Information Technology Generalist at Florida International University. Cristhofer's technical expertise includes developing Power Shell scripts for system optimization and enhancing user experience. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, significant contributions were made in improving programming education for undergraduate students. Cristhofer also demonstrated leadership skills as Student Body President, advocating for student interests and fostering inclusivity, and as an Engineering and Computing Senator, where impactful legislations were created. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Florida International University, along with an Associate of Arts degree from Turks and Caicos Islands Community College.
