Howard Holness

Howard Holness is currently serving as the Interim Associate Dean of Administration at the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Director of Research and Development at Florida International University since January 2006. In addition, Howard has held the position of Chief of Academic Administration, overseeing the administrative operations for the Office of the Provost, and collaborated with faculty and staff to achieve university objectives. Previous experience includes roles at the Sugar Industry Research Institute from October 2002 to December 2005 as a Process Technologist. Howard Holness earned a Ph.D. in Forensic Science and Technology from Florida International University, an MBA from the University of New Orleans, and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of the West Indies, Mona.
