Isabel Capella

Isabel Capella, MPH, CHES, IWLC, has extensive experience in career services, academic advising, and health education at Florida International University since August 2006. Currently serving as a Career Specialist, Isabel connects students from the Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work with employers, enhancing resumes and interviewing skills. Previously, as an Academic Advisor for the College of Business, Isabel managed a large caseload of students utilizing various online advising tools. Also, in the role of Senior Health Educator, Isabel developed and evaluated health promotion programs while planning significant health events. Additional experience includes advising student organizations, supporting career-related programming, and interning as a Community Health Educator at Baptist Health South Florida. Isabel holds a Master of Public Health in Disease Prevention Health Promotion and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from Florida International University.
