Jose Lopez-Varela

Jose Lopez-Varela currently serves as the Associate Director of Computer Store Operations at Florida International University, leading the FIU Panther TECH team that provides technology retail services and hardware/software support for the university community. Prior experience includes roles as Business Manager at Apple, Chairman of the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies, and Executive Group Account Director at Lopez Negrete Communications, where Jose managed significant client campaigns for major brands. Jose has also held leadership positions at ADN Communications and Hill, Holliday Hispanic/abecé, focusing on strategic marketing and business development in Hispanic markets. A graduate of Florida International University with a BBA in Marketing and International Business, Jose has a diverse background in marketing and management, starting from their early career as a Marketing Manager at Rori International.
