Melissa Argumosa

Melissa Argumosa, PhD, LMHC, is a dedicated clinical therapist and adjunct professor at Florida International University since May 2019. As the President and CEO of First Step Family Counseling, Inc. since September 2017, Melissa has utilized extensive experience in psychotherapy and program management. Previous roles include Licensed Psychotherapist at Arvon and Associates in Counseling and Director of East Coast Admissions at Monte Nido & Affiliates. Melissa's background also encompasses significant positions in family counseling and early childhood services, including managing the FAST Program at Family Counseling Services of Greater Miami, Inc. Melissa earned a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Florida International University between 2003 and 2010.
