Oliver Ionita

Oliver Ionita is an accomplished professional in the field of development and advancement, currently serving as Senior Executive Director at Florida International University since March 2018. Prior to this role, Oliver held various positions at the University of Illinois at Chicago, including Executive Director of Development for the College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts and Senior Director of Development. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Dean and Director of Advancement for the College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts at the same institution, and impactful roles at leading organizations such as the Chicago Opera Theater, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Northwestern University, New York Philharmonic, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Oliver's educational background includes a Bachelor of Music in Harpsichord and Composition from The Juilliard School, as well as Master's degrees from New York University.
