Kyle Thomson is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in network and infrastructure systems. Currently serving as an Infrastructure System Engineer at Florida Municipal Power Agency since August 2022, previous roles include Network Engineer positions at both XYMOGEN and CentralSquare Technologies, where responsibilities entailed leading WAN infrastructure management. Additional experience includes roles as a Network Administrator at eprentise, Network Specialist at Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers Inc, and Data Center Administrator at Orlando Health. Kyle's career began with a Sr. IT Support Administrator position at NATIONAL RETAIL PROPERTIES, INC, after which there was significant tenure at GRACE HILL NEIGHBORHOOD HEALTH CENTERS as both a Network/Systems Administrator and Senior Level PC Support Specialist. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Southern Indiana.

Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) is a wholesale power agency owned by 31 municipal electric utilities. FMPA’s mission is to provide power that is competitively priced, reliable and clean, as well as provide value-added services for its owner-customers. Our members serve approximately two million Floridians. Each FMPA member is locally owned and operated, but they work together on common needs. For example, by coordinating the power supply needs of several communities, the utilities can build larger, more efficient power plants and share operating expenses, all of which reduces the cost of electricity. FMPA has six power supply projects. We supply all or some of the power 24 of our 31 members. Some cities do not purchase power from FMPA, but utilize other services from the Agency.
