Peshala Disanayaka

Peshala Disanayaka is a seasoned actuarial professional with significant experience in the insurance sector, currently serving as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation since December 2013. In this role, Peshala has been responsible for reviewing, regulating, and processing insurance rate and rule change filings for homeowners lines of business. Previously, as an Actuarial Analyst, Peshala handled similar responsibilities for commercial property, commercial package, and private passenger auto lines. Peshala's foundation in mathematics was established at the University of Minnesota, where a Bachelor of Science degree was earned in 2013. Additionally, Peshala gained early experience as an intern at Environmental Resources Investment PLC in August 2012.
