Alda Hilsinger

Alda Hilsinger is a seasoned music educator and leader with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Music Instructor and Professional Learning Communities Facilitator at Florida Virtual School since January 2012, Alda engages in music curriculum design, particularly focusing on the Middle School Guitar course, and provides training for new teachers. Alda's tenure at Tampa Bay Strings as President/Manager since 2007 involves client contracts and management responsibilities. In addition, Alda holds a role as a Substitute Violin and Viola for The Florida Orchestra and previously served as a Strings Specialist at the School District of Hillsborough County, where notable achievements include superior-rated performances and significant student enrollment in music programs. Alda's academic credentials include a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music from Rice University, and a diploma from The Juilliard School's Pre-College Division.
