Karen Medzi is an experienced financial professional with a robust background in accounting and financial management, currently serving as the Controller at Florida Orthopaedic Institute since March 2019. Prior to this role, Karen worked as a Consultant at Great Northern Advisory, Inc., where services included transitioning accounting practices and preparing financial statements for a physician practice management client. Karen held the position of Controller at Physician Business Services/Women's Care Florida from August 2015 to June 2018, managing extensive accounting operations and staff while overseeing financial statements for numerous practices. Previous roles include significant positions in financial management, payroll supervision, and treasury management at various organizations, demonstrating a comprehensive skill set in accounting and financial operations. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Akron.
