Tamara Cannon

Tamara Cannon is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in healthcare and advocacy for individuals with disabilities. Currently serving as Vice President at NSHS - Northshore Healthcare Systems since April 2022, Tamara also contributes as a Committee Member for Florida Parishes Human Services Authority and as President/Executive Director of REACH with Disabilities since October 2013, focusing on supporting families to help children achieve their fullest potential. Additionally, Tamara founded the Helping Hands Down Syndrome & Chromosome Disorder Support Group in May 2010, providing crucial support to families in need. Previous roles include being a Board Member at NSHS and holds notable positions with the Louisiana Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities. Tamara's academic background includes being a valedictorian and completing training at Louisiana Partners in Policymaking.
