Katherine Bangert has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and information technology. Katherine started their career as a Senior Web Programming Intern at TriLeaf Designs, where they worked on website development and maintenance using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and PHP. Katherine then worked as a Library Aide at Ranken Technical College, where they assisted with inventory, cataloging, and archiving tasks. Katherine also served as an Internet and Web-based Technology Department Tutor at Ranken Technical College, providing tutoring in Java, HTML/CSS, ASP.NET, as well as other subjects.

Katherine then joined TriLeaf Designs again as a Lead Web Developer, where they created promotion codes, built websites using WordPress, and updated sites using HTML5 and CSS3. Katherine further enhanced their skills as a Software Developer at Foundry Software, where they handled various support calls and developed custom widgets and plugins.

Next, they worked as a Software Engineer at Karpel Solutions, where they supported custom software applications and performed data conversions. Katherine then joined LifeWallet, LLC as a Software Engineer and was responsible for designing and building the data architecture for the entire ecosystem, as well as developing custom APIs using Ruby and ProgreSQL.

Currently, Katherine is working at Florida Power & Light Company as a Senior Software Engineer & Technical Lead. Here, they designed and implemented a cloud migration project, architected reusable API solutions, and devised strategies for self-recovering product suites.

Prior to their involvement in the IT industry, Katherine worked as an Information Technology Manager at First Shot Shooting Academy Inc., where they managed cash registers, store layout, and inventory.

Throughout their career, Katherine has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages, web development, database management, and technical support, making their a versatile professional in the field of software engineering and IT.

Katherine Bangert's education history starts in 2010 when they attended Ranken Technical College and earned an Associate of Science (A.S) degree in Internet and Web-based Technology in 2012. During their time at Ranken Technical College, they obtained certifications in Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Application Development, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance, and Oracle Certified Associate, Java Standard Edition 5 & 6.

In 2013, Katherine Bangert transferred to Webster University and pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, which they completed in 2014. In the following year, from 2014 to 2016, they attended Keiser University-Ft Lauderdale and earned another Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, this time in Software Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Katherine Bangert obtained a Lean, Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from NextEra Energy, Inc. in 2016. Katherine then obtained a Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from the same institution in 2019. Their most recent certification is the Scaled Scrum Master Certified (SSMC), obtained from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2020.
