Nelson Lopez

Nelson Lopez has been working at Florida Power & Light since August 2011 as a Smart Grid Field Engineer, overseeing the operations and maintenance of Smart Grid field communication infrastructure. Prior to this, Nelson worked as a NOC Engineer at FPL FiberNet from July 2009 to August 2011, supporting internal and external customers within the Network Operations Center. Nelson holds a degree in Associate of Arts and Sciences in Architecture from Northampton Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Internet of Things Electrical and Computer Science at Florida International University.
