Richard Filipow

Richard Filipow currently serves as a Physical Security Specialist at Florida Power & Light since October 2023. Prior to this role, Richard worked as a Security Specialist Investigator at BMW of North America, LLC from March 2019 to October 2023. Richard's career in law enforcement includes serving as a Class 3 school police officer at the Fairfield NJ Police Department from November 2017 to March 2019, and a Lieutenant at the same department from 1992 to 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing Internal Affairs and various community service initiatives. Additionally, Richard has experience in education as an Adjunct Professor in the Masters Program at Seton Hall University from 1999 to 2003, and in product marketing at Ricoh Business Solutions from 1988 to 1992. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Rider University and a Master of Science in Education from Seton Hall University.
