Sean Helton

Sean Helton joined FPL in 2021 as a senior communication specialist for PoweringFlorida. He brings nearly 20 years of marketing and development experience to the team, most recently serving as the vice president of marketing for Enterprise Florida, Inc., the state’s principal economic development organization. While there, he led the organization’s efforts to market Florida as a business state through its award-winning “Florida – The Future is Here” campaign. Prior to his role at Enterprise Florida, Sean worked for the University of Central Florida, the Lockheed Martin Corporation and Walt Disney Imagineering, holding positions in marketing, development and media relations.

He serves as vice-chair on the UCF Nicholson School of Communication and Media’s alumni board and is its mentorship program chair. He is also a volunteer with Give Kids the World.
