Ashley Chambers

Ashley Chambers has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being the Director of Communications at the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Press Secretary at the same company from December 2019 to February 2022.

Before joining the FRLA, Ashley worked for the State of Florida; Office of the Governor as the Director of Communications for the Florida Department of Elder Affairs from January 2011 to December 2019.

Ashley also has experience working in political campaigns, specifically with Rick Scott for Florida, where they served as Senior Advance Lead and Press Lead from June 2010 to January 2011.

In addition, Ashley worked for the U.S. Department of Justice as a Special Assistant and Speechwriter to the Director from August 2007 to June 2010.

Prior to that, they worked as an Advance/Conference Manager Contractor at Showcall from 2005 to 2007, and as a Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Commerce from 2004 to 2007.

Earlier in their career, Ashley was a member of the Presidential Advance Team at The White House, serving as Press Lead from 2003 to 2007.

Ashley Chambers attended Baylor University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government.
