Jaya Kumar M.D.

Jaya Kumar, MD, currently serves as a Vitreoretinal Specialist at Florida Retina Institute since August 2018, contributing to the delivery of excellence in vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery across multiple locations. Prior to this role, Jaya Kumar completed a Vitreoretinal Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in July 2016 and performed an Ophthalmology Residency at Duke University Health System from 2013 to 2016. Jaya Kumar also undertook an Internal Medicine Internship at Saint Louis University School of Medicine during 2012-2013. Jaya Kumar earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2012, following an Honors Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Louis University in 2008.
