Asha Padmanabhan

Asha Padmanabhan, MD, FASA, currently serves as the President of the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists and has held the role of President Elect. Since January 2024, Asha has been working as an Independent Physician after a notable tenure as Site Director at Envision Physician Services Bethesda Medical Center. With extensive experience in anesthesiology, including leadership positions such as Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology at Plantation General Hospital, Asha has also founded Leadership Rx Coaching to mentor early and mid-career women physicians in developing leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Educational credentials include multiple degrees and training in Medicine, Anesthesia, Surgery, and Hyperbaric Medicine, alongside certification as an ATLS Instructor.
