Heather Olson has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Heather'smost recent role is as the Director of Online Teaching and Learning Experience at Florida SouthWestern State College, which they started in May 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Professor at the same institution from August 2009 to May 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Yoga Instructor at Yoga Bird since September 2014. Before their time at the college, they were a High School English Teacher at Collier County Public Schools from August 2005 to June 2010.
Heather Olson has an extensive education history. Heather completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Psychology from Capella University from 2018 to 2022. Heather also holds the certification of Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist from the Himalayan Institute, obtained in 2018. Furthermore, they are a True Colors Facilitator certified by True Colors International since 2017. Finally, Heather is a Yoga Instructor RYT 200 certified by Yoga Alliance, which they achieved in 2011.
