Leonard Owens III

Leonard Owens III is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in English and writing instruction. Currently serving as a Professor at Florida SouthWestern State College since January 2020, Leonard has previously held positions at Daytona State College as an Adjunct Faculty member and Writing Specialist, as well as a Graduate Assistant at Western New Mexico University. Additional experience includes roles as a Writing Tutor at the University of North Florida and as a Writing Fellow/Peer Tutor at Daytona State College. Leonard holds a Master of Arts in English & Writing from Western New Mexico University, a Bachelor of Arts in English with minors in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of North Florida, and an Associate of Arts in General Education from Daytona State College.
