Leslie Bartley, PhD, is a full-time psychology professor at Florida Southwestern State College since August 2010. Bartley has held various roles in the field of psychology, including serving as a Subject Matter Expert at Remilon, LLC, where educational lessons in psychology and sociology were created. Additionally, Bartley worked as the Director of Student Services at Knox Academy, providing counseling and support to students with behavioral and emotional challenges. Prior experience includes positions as a Family Support Specialist at ALS - Accelerate Learning Solutions, Substance Abuse Counselor II at Lutheran Services Florida, and Information and Referral specialist at United Way of Lee County. Early career experience involved supervising a group home for adults with severe mental illnesses. Bartley holds a PhD in Advanced Studies in Human Behavior from Capella University, along with a Master’s in Family Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Psychology.
