Libby Schott is an accomplished academic and military professional with extensive experience in mathematics and engineering education. Currently serving as the Dean of the School of Pure and Applied Sciences and as a Professor of Mathematics and Engineering at Florida SouthWestern State College since August 2015, Libby Schott also held adjunct professor positions at the University of Arkansas from May 2016 to December 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Academy Professor and Program Director for the Engineering Management Program at the United States Military Academy at West Point from 2009 to June 2015, as well as a distinguished 24-year career in the US Army, where Libby Schott held the rank of LTC and occupied various roles, including Quartermaster Officer and Operations Research/Systems Analyst. Educational credentials include a PhD in Mathematics and Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
