Coordinator, Cybersecurity at Florida SouthWestern State College

Rushell Hopkins serves as the Coordinator of Cybersecurity and Professor of Computer Science and Cybersecurity at Florida SouthWestern State College since August 2022. Previously, Rushell held various roles at StageXchange from October 2015 to March 2023, including Implementation and Training Consultant and Director of Implementation and Training. In addition, Rushell was an Adjunct Professor at Southern Technical College in 2017 and worked as a Software Training Specialist at Shell Point Retirement Community from July 2014 to October 2015. Prior experience also includes a position as an Instructional Assistant at Florida SouthWestern State College from May 2012 to July 2014. Rushell's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University (2022-2025), a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Florida State University (2014-2016), a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida SouthWestern State College (2012-2014), and additional studies at Troy University (1994-1995).
