Frank Wong

Founding Director, Center Of Population Sciences For Health Promotion at Florida State University

Frank Wong is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in health promotion and population sciences. Currently, Frank holds positions as Adjunct Investigator at Instituto de Investigaciones Científicas y Servicios de Alta Tecnología de Panamá AIP and Research Associate at Instituto Conmemorativo Gorgas de Estudios de la Salud, while serving as the Founding Director and Professor at Florida State University, as well as a McKenzie Endowed Professor of Health Equity Research. Additionally, Frank is a Graduate Affiliate Faculty at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa and has previously held roles as Scientist-Educator at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Concurrent Professor at Fudan University, where Frank received the highest honor for a non-Chinese national. Past academic appointments include Associate Professor at Emory University and Georgetown University, where contributions to the Georgetown University President’s China Initiative were notable. Frank Wong earned a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Texas A&M University.
