Kathleen S Barber

Kathleen S. Barber currently serves as the Director of the Askew Student Life Center and Cinema at Florida State University, a position held since August 2011, where responsibilities include overall programming and supervision of the venue. Prior to this role, Kathleen was the Program Director at Student Life Cinema from 2008 to August 2011 and coordinated film festivals for the FSU Film School Alumni from 1996 to 2008. Kathleen holds a Teaching Certificate in Education from Florida State University, obtained from 2014 to 2018, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film from Florida State University, earned from 1994 to 1997, and an Associate of Arts in Film Studies/Production from Tallahassee State College, completed from 1992 to 1994.
