Matt van Deventer

Matt van Deventer currently serves as the University Treasurer at Florida State University since October 2025. Prior experience includes a decade at Harvard University, where Matt held the position of Director of Cash Management from June 2015 to October 2025. Prior to that, Matt worked as a Treasury Analyst at Cambridge Savings Bank (2013-2015), focusing on financial modeling, stress testing, and risk assessment. Matt began the professional career as a Staff Accountant at JN Phillips Auto Glass (2012-2013), managing consolidated financial statements and monthly P&L analyses. Matt holds a Master's of Liberal Arts in Management from Harvard Extension School and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Salem State University.
