Yan Zeng

Yan (Helen) Zeng is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Florida State University since January 2024. Currently serving as Affiliate Faculty, Staff Scientist, and previously as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Berkeley Lab since March 2020, Yan focuses on building self-driving labs for materials synthesis and characterization and developing new solid electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries. Yan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mining and Materials Engineering from McGill University (2015-2020), a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2012-2015), and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Chemical Engineering from Wuhan Institute of Technology (2008-2012).
