Derek Stewart

Derek Stewart is the Chief Executive Officer of the American Driver & Traffic Safety Education Association - Florida (ADTSEA-FL), focusing on enhancing driver education across the state through advocacy and collaboration with various stakeholders. In addition to this role, Derek has served as the Driver Education Coordinator and Lead Instructor at Florida Virtual School since June 2012, overseeing the Driver Education Behind the Wheel Program and mentoring fellow educators. As an Adjunct Professor at Hillsborough Community College since January 2014, Derek contributes to higher education. With a background in multimedia design as the President of EchoReign, Inc. since 2007, Derek also has extensive experience in teaching and coaching within the School District of Hillsborough County, where multiple subjects and sports were managed. Derek holds a Master of Arts in Gifted Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Secondary Education from the University of South Florida.
