Maegan Demoss

Maegan DeMoss currently serves as the Regional Director for North Florida at Florida Virtual School, overseeing multiple school sites within the state's unified school district for youth in residential facilities. DeMoss played a pivotal role in launching Florida Scholars Academy, the first unified school district for students in juvenile justice, establishing operational frameworks across three counties. Notable achievements include building instructional systems, fostering relationships with stakeholders, implementing trauma-informed strategies, and ensuring compliance with educational regulations. Prior experience at Bay District Schools includes roles as Assistant Principal and School Administrator, where leadership contributed to significant school grade improvements and effective monitoring of student progress. DeMoss holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies.
