Matthew Shafer

Matthew Shafer is an experienced Art Director at Florida Virtual School since March 2013, where Matthew leads the production and redesign of web-based courses, overseeing complete course redesigns and asset creation, including interactives and user interface designs. As the owner of Shafer Creative Agency since 2005, Matthew specializes in media design and marketing, focusing on branding, multimedia design, web design, and social media marketing. Previously, Matthew served as a Visual Communications Production Manager in the United States Air Force from 2001 to 2005, following a graphic design career that began in 1992. Academically, Matthew holds a Master of Science in Internet Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Digital Art and Design from Full Sail University, along with an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Audiovisual Production from the Community College of the Air Force.
