Delaney Johnston has been working in the engineering and medical fields since 2018. In that year, they were a Mechanical Design Intern for Komatsu Mining Corp. In 2019, they held the roles of Engineering Co-op Student at Hatch, Neuroimaging Data Co-op Student at CAMH, and Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at the University of Guelph. In 2020, they were a Biomedical Engineering Student at Flosonics Medical, and in 2021 they were promoted to Customer Success Coordinator and Biomedical Engineer at the same company.
Delaney Johnston attended the University of Guelph from 2016 to 2021, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. Delaney also holds certifications from the Lifesaving Society Ontario in Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid Instructor, National Lifeguard Service, and Standard First Aid & CPR-C from the Canadian Red Cross.
