Erica Huie

Erica Huie has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a DJ at UCLA Radio in 2008. In 2011, they interned at Hello Music, performing various administrative duties such as music research and album reviews. In 2013, they were the XamU Training Coordinator at Xamarin, helping to launch the administrative side of Xamarin University and coordinating complex student & instructor schedules across varying time zones. From 2014 to 2016, they were an Executive Assistant at UCSF Medical Center, providing executive support to the Chief Innovation Officer and Director of Continuous Process Improvement Department. Erica then moved on to Surefire Productions LLC, where they managed all bookkeeping and administrative operations for a small music booking agency with a roster of 60 artists. In 2018, they were the Finance Administrator at MUTEK Foundation, managing festival finance and administrative operations for MUTEK San Francisco’s inaugural U.S. edition. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Fort Point Beer Company as an Accounting Coordinator, performing all AR/AP operations for the brewery and taprooms. During this time, they also collected $120K from bars and restaurants during the COVID-19 ordinances, all of which was slated to be written off as bad debt. Currently, they are a Staff Accountant at Flow Cannabis Co.

Erica Huie's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology & Music History from the University of California, Los Angeles from 2008 to 2012. Erica also attended Foothill College from 2020 to 2021 for Accounting and Finance. From 2004 to 2008, they attended the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts for Music Performance, Violin/ Viola.
