Debbie Straus, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Debbie began their career in 2004 as a Sr. Administrative Assistant in the marketing department at Flow International Corporation. During their time there, they managed incoming sales and information inquiries, ensured data integrity, and supervised the distributor incentive program.
In 2007, Debbie joined the Kent School District as a Board Director, where they served for 12 years. In 2012, they became a Global TS Project Leader at Flow International, where they contributed to global projects before transitioning to the role of Customer Care Manager in 2013. As a Customer Care Manager, Debbie ensured the delivery of efficient and high-quality customer service.
Debbie then became the Customer Care Training & Development Manager in 2013, where they oversaw training and development programs for Flow's customers, technicians, and customer care staff. Debbie evaluated training needs, managed course syllabus development, and worked with Customer Relationship Managers to align training with business needs.
In 2014, Debbie was promoted to a Project Manager position at Flow International, where they managed global projects, including ERP implementations, HRIS implementation, and standardization of HR processes. Debbie collaborated with internal and external stakeholders, elicited comprehensive information from subject matter experts, and presented regular updates to Key Leaders.
Most recently, Debbie served as an IT Project Manager/Scrum Master at Flow International, responsible for overseeing global IT projects, including ERP upgrades, SharePoint, JIRA, and ecommerce implementations. Debbie managed multiple projects simultaneously, coordinated with external vendors and internal business teams, and ensured the timely and successful delivery of project goals.
Throughout their career, Debbie demonstrated strong project management skills, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a focus on delivering high-quality results. Debbie holds a PMP certification, indicating their expertise in project management.
