Angela Paauwe

Angela Paauwe has extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Angela is currently the Vice President of Operations at Flow-Rite Controls, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations at Flow-Rite Controls from January 2021 to December 2021.

Angela's previous experience includes working at Steelcase, where they held several roles. From September 2018 to September 2020, they worked as the Mergers and Acquisitions Manager. From May 2014 to September 2018, they were a Consultant for Global Operations for New Product Development. In this role, they project-managed the development of subscale solutions and led cross-functional teams. Angela also provided business guidance and technical direction to various teams.

Before that, Angela worked as the Manager of Global Procurement from October 2011 to May 2014. Angela was responsible for developing and managing a preferred supply base and supporting product categories in new product development. Angela also served as a Senior Project Manager, Engineering Manager for the Wood Division, Superintendent/Operations Manager, Engineering Manager for Seating, Quality Manager for Computer Furniture, Engineering Supervisor for Chair 2, Sr. Buyer, and Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer at Steelcase.

Prior to their time at Steelcase, Angela worked at Bohn Aluminum and Brass Corporation as an Industrial Engineer/Cost Estimator and Supervisor of the Anodize and Pack Department.

Angela Paauwe obtained an Associate degree in Arts from Grand Rapids Community College, which they attended from 1983 to 1985. Angela then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering Arts from Michigan State University, where they studied from 1985 to 1987. Continuing their education, Angela completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in Engineering/Industrial Management from Western Michigan University between 1987 and 1991.
