Pablo Fernández de Salas began their work experience as an Introduction to Research Fellow at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas in 2012, where they conducted studies on neutrino physics and cosmic rays. Pablo later worked as a Collaborator Student Grant recipient at the Universidad de Sevilla, studying the properties of exotic halo nuclei. In 2013, they participated in the MultiDark Summer Student Program at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, studying connections between dark matter and neutrinos. Pablo also contributed to research projects on neutrino physics as an Advanced Technician at the University of Valencia. In 2014, they joined the Astroparticles and High Energy Physics group at the Instituto de Física Corpuscular in Valencia as a Predoctoral FPU Contract recipient. Pablo continued their research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stockholm University, working on topics such as astrophysics, dark matter physics, and cosmology. Pablo also mentored and supervised the work of young scientists during this time. Currently, Pablo is the Lead Data Scientist at Flower, where they model and predicts prices of ancillary energy markets and power availability of aggregated assets and a solar plant.
Pablo Fernández de Salas completed their education in a chronological manner. Pablo started their academic journey by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Physics at the Universidad de Sevilla from 2008 to 2013. This program, equivalent to a degree combined with a master's, provided him with a strong foundation in the field of Physics.
Following this, they attended the University of Valencia, where they obtained a Master's degree in "Física avanzada" from 2013 to 2014. This advanced program further enhanced their knowledge and expertise in Physics.
Pablo then undertook a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at the University of Valencia, specializing in Physics. Pablo completed their doctorate from 2014 to 2018, further deepening their understanding and research capabilities in this field.
Additionally, Pablo Fernández de Salas obtained two additional certifications. In 2020, they completed a course on Machine Learning from Stanford University. Later, in 2022, they obtained a certification in Deep Neural Networks with PyTorch from Coursera.
Overall, their educational journey showcases their dedication to advancing their knowledge in the field of Physics, with a focus on specialization and research through their Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees.
