Julia Broman

Julia Broman is a Civil Design Engineer at Flowers & Associates, Inc. since October 2021, bringing valuable experience from a previous role as an Instructional Student Assistant at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where Julia graded assignments for a thermodynamics class and enhanced student learning. Julia participated in the WERC Environmental Design Competition, earning 2nd place nationally for designing an algal remediation system to remove heavy metals from mine water runoff. Prior experience includes tutoring mathematics at Santa Barbara City College, assisting students with diverse needs, and managing a smoothie and acai bar while developing leadership and people management skills. Julia holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
