Shelly Peterson

Shelly Peterson holds multiple degrees including a Master’s in Occupational Safety and Health, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Health Care Administration/Gerontology. With extensive experience in environmental, health, and safety management, Shelly currently serves as the Environmental, Safety, and Sustainability Manager at Flowers Foods & Subsidiaries and is a Founding Member of The Gathering Spot. Previous roles include Environment, Health and Safety Manager at WestRock Company, and Disability Coordinator at Daimler Trucks North America, with significant expertise in regulatory compliance, training, leave administration, and workers' compensation programs. Shelly is actively engaged in leadership initiatives as a Women in Leadership Advisory Member at Houston Christian University.
