Therese Fogarty

Therese Fogarty has a extensive work experience in the field of internal audit. Therese began their career at Shaw Industries in 1986, where they developed and managed an in-house Internal Audit department. In 1997, they joined PricewaterhouseCoopers and served as the Director of the Global Risk Management Solutions Practice. Their role involved developing an internal audit outsourcing practice for large consumer products companies in the Southeast Region. Fogarty joined Flowers Foods in 2002, where they held the position of Vice President of Internal Audit. Therese was responsible for all aspects of the Internal Audit department and reported directly to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. Therese recently retired as the Chief Audit Executive for Prior - Flowers Foods in 2019.

Therese Fogarty earned their B.S. degree in Transportation & Logistics from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee in 1981. Therese later obtained a second B.S. degree in Accounting from the same institution, completing their studies in 1985.
