Adam Breece has worked in the tech industry since 2004. Adam began their career as a Systems Administrator at the University of Michigan Health System, where they were responsible for end-user support, internal application development, server maintenance and support, and leading the HIPAA network and application security compliance program. In 2009, they took on the role of Computer Technician at Michigan State University Intramural Sports, where they were responsible for general IT systems administration including network and workstation troubleshooting and maintenance, as well as maintaining and updating the department's public-facing website. In 2010, they interned as a Program Manager at Microsoft. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Program Manager at Microsoft, where they designed and managed the fundamental software engineering services at scale, allowing desktop, table, mobile, and web application development to all exist in the same ecosystem, maximizing the benefits of continuous integration. Adam also managed the end-to-end telemetry story for Office 2013. Finally, from 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Software Developer at ShiftNote, and from 2016 to the present, they have worked as a Software Engineer at FlowPlay.
Adam Breece attended Washtenaw Community College from 2005 to 2008, followed by Michigan State University from 2008 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
